idle hands

spent a lot of today on trains & in cars & walking around.

started reading ben marcus' notable american women & have consequently been thinking very very much about design. not that this book is particularly interestingly-designed—it is great but the design is not really remarkable—but that the things he is talking about, about how we interact with the physicality of language, are things that i want to bring into my work. i want to make blueprints like the ones he writes. i may confine myself to blueprints like that for some small projects. we'll see.



this is how the project i have been working on slowly-slowly looked in the morning. i have big dreams & i am glad i have time & time right now to think & make. hopefully more tomorrow.
